Memorial Day 2023

A memorial run to raise awareness for our Special Operations members who were killed in action since 9/11/2001. Only one rule to run with Project 33; the flag represents the fallen, and no runner will pass the flag. The flag will lead the way.

While our traditional run is 6.8 miles, we encourage you to run the distance you feel most comfortable with. This could look like running in your driveway, around your yard, or your own road course. Post pictures after your run and tag us on social media (Facebook: Project 33 Memorial Foundation; Instagram: @project33memorialfoundation) and include the hashtag #RUNFORLARRY

We were truly blown away by the participation of our in-person and virtual supporters throughout the years!  Our virtual runs took place at military bases as far north as Fort Drum, NY and as far south as Fort Rucker, AL.  The impact that this has had on the honoree's family was immense, we thank you for that.

If you are local to Buffalo, we would love to see you at our in-person event. Virtual registration is available for out-of-town participants or for those who will complete a distance at their own discretion.  This Memorial Day join us and honor U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Larry I. Rouge.  We cannot wait to see all your posts as we run for Larry and keep his legacy alive.

Funds raised during our 2023 campaign will be donated to Labs for Liberty at the request of Larry's family.  Labs For Liberty is a nonprofit organization that honors, and empowers members of the United States Special Operations Forces by providing service dogs for PTSD and physical needs.

Come join us, and honor those who gave their lives for our Nation
